I love playing pool and really wanted to get a portable pool table my 3 kids, ages 3 thru 6, can enjoy with me. I liked that this also has other games, but we already have table versions of most of those, but we don't for pool. This does not come assembled hardly at all. The frame of the pool table is assembled, and that's about it. There's two parts to the directions and although they want you to assemble the foosball table first, I skipped to how to assemble the base for the pool table. The steps are fairly easy, BUT the screws are weak and want to strip. At least a few screws are not as tight as I'd like them to be. The holes also could have been drilled out better so it wasn't so tough to screw them in, especially for the hinges of the supply box. This took work, more work than most jobs I've assembled do. Most of the jobs I’ve done I could use a power driver to help but I couldn't with this one if I wanted to have the least risk on stripping the screws. After probably about 90 minutes the pool table and base was all asssembled. It rocks! No, not like its really nice "rocks", but like it tips/pivots on one part of the legs. We didn't end up playing on it after assembling due to how long it took. We will have to get out a level and see if we can gather stuff to support and tilt the legs the way they should be so that the balls don't roll on their own or move if someone bumps the table. In addition, when it was erected to be out of the way, the wheels locks (where it tightens to stay steady) didn't line up right to keep it tight and secure. This all could be a matter that the wheel locks just weren't put on the right way at the factory, but that makes an otherwise nice product almost unusable. The overall quality, I was impressed with. The fake wood is nice. The pieces seem well made in general. The box is in there way too tight and hard to open the lid though. It's nice all the little pieces they included for different games. (I didn't see the parts for the card/board games yet though.) If this had easier assembly and wasn't wobbly then it would easily get 4 stars.Update: After having it up and then lowering it I was able to get it stable. The locks still didn’t line up correctly, and forget balls staying in place when the kids bump it. But it was fun playing a mini game of pool. I could teach them some simple mechanics of the game but we certainly couldn’t take it seriously. This game table is a lot of fun and has a bunch of options to play - foosball, pool, table tennis and more. But getting it put together was fairly frustrating and time consuming. A lot of the screw holes don't line on on their corresponding pieces, making it a real pain to try to assemble without great difficulty. The thing has a lot of pieces, too...so it's really a two person job or one person with extra ordinary patience. It does come with directions and those are actually well written, but the complication lies in the fact that there are SO many pieces and many of these are similar so they are easy to mix up which is which.Once you do get it together, the table is fun! It folds down fairly compactly. The table is surprisingly sturdy, too..I feel like it's something that will last for a long time. It's just the frustration of putting it together that takes away from the overall fun of the item itself. We got this for our family game room.We thought that since it has so many games and folds up out of the way, that it would be a good addition. It arrives needing a full assembly. It took two of us over an hour to get it all put together correctly and with out anything breaking in the process. It comes with directions that are easy to understand. It seems to be well made. The fake wood actually feels very durable. The different table tops all feel strong. The shafts for soccer game are all the right size and seem sturdy. The entire unit itself seems to be rugged. To test this out after building it we started with a game of pool.Next we played to ping pong.We had to be very patient to play ping pong on this table. It was fun but the extra small size compared to standard ping pong was challenging. The built in storage is nice.Overall we laughed and had fun with it so we would probably buy this again.fun for sure, great for small spaces that can't accommodate the bigger ones. it's a pain to put together but worth it in my opinion.this is much better than i expected, you never know how these are going to go with quality but my four kids ages 10 to 7 all love this and play with this often, the best table to play is the foosball and air hockey, pool is great too but the ping pong is almost impossible given how small the table is its hard to play BUT love the storage tray at the bottom, great compact size and overall great quality and will provide lots of entertainment
